PWC Election Vandal Charged and Held Without Bond
The individual who vandalized homes and businesses near Gainesville, VA a week before Election Day, targeting homes with McCain signs, has been charged in the case and is being held without bond.
Police say this was not a “hate crime” and was not politically motivated. The reason for this conclusion? “[S]ome of the affected properties had McCain campaign signs but that others did not.” Well, I wouldn’t expect a church or a store like Best Buy to have political signs displayed. From the sound of it, this guy seems as if he has a beef with the free market, organized religion and Republicans.
Still, there must be something more to this than what had been reported so far. Why else would someone be held without bond for a case of vandalism?
