Anyone who looks at the past decade of budgets in Virginia will see that there was explosive growth.  Former Gov. / liar extraordinaire Marky Mark and his Flunky Bunch, including his successor Timmy!, have all tried to blame it on Gov. Gilmore’s tax relief package that cut the car tax.  But now, D.J. McGuire has uncovered exactly where $6.7 BILLION of our tax dollars have gone.

So, if you want to know why your taxes went up, and (for Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads) why you’re snarled in traffic, today’s debate gave the answer: it was so Mark Warner could knock out low-income private health insurance and expand government controlled health care.

If Marky Mark is our U.S. Senator, you can expect more of the same at the federal level — more government control, more wasteful spending, less free market solutions and less government efficiency.
